Since the first workshop opened in Cremona by Giovanni Mejana in 1892, the brand Mejana has come a long way. In only just a few years the Cremonese “cutlery, trinkets and leather shop” has succeeded in gaining many customers with their high-quality items.
So much so that Milan became an inevitable landmark: where their new store in that prestigious and cultured city focused more on cutlery and leather goods.
Then they transferred into one of the most exclusive parts of the city, an even bigger store in the heart of Milan: the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
Regulars of the “Milanese High Society” like actors, singers, politicians, heads of state, royals and lovers of splendor and quality have all become loyal customers of the boutique.
Even the bombing of 1943 that destroyed the Gallery couldn’t arrest the brand Mejana rush of success once the conflict was over.
A brilliant boutique !
Already in its fourth generation, today the brand Mejana is well known for ladies’ leather goods, boasting an exclusive collection of the highest quality handbags, available to purchase only in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
The collection is designed and made entirely in Italy, crafted using hand selected materials and the greatest attention to detail.
The municipality of Milan included Mejana into the limited and desirable list of the historical shops of the city for more than hundred years of activity.
